Dr. Wei, an honors graduate (MBBS, 1995) from Monash University, transitioned from a top medical student to a globally recognized medical inventor and healthcare innovator. Over two decades ago, he pioneered the world’s first wireless contraception in Tokyo, empowering women through self-care technology. In 2002, he was invited by the Dutch Health Promotion Board to develop a big data solution linking youth health trends with digital education, and later collaborated with Singapore’s Health Promotion Board to address declining birth rates. Dr. Wei founded Borderless Healthcare Group over 15 years ago, which has grown into a global leader in healthcare technology, media, telecommunication, service, and content (TMTSC). He has received numerous international accolades, including being the youngest nominee for CNN’s People’s Choice Award in 2003.

A respected keynote speaker at events like Slush and BIOMED Israel, Dr. Wei is also a sought-after thought leader by global institutions such as the UN, WHO, Stanford, and Oxford.
